Contract negotiations with Polaris continue. At this point, we're still developing the project through the contracting process. We're determining things like how many hours of training they'll provide, which optional features and services we'll implement, and developing a high level project plan. I know many of you already have lists of questions and considerations regarding this process, and I appreciate your patience as we continue with contract negotiations. Migration Update: February 10, 2017

Aloha, Project Laulima! And aloha, CCS Migration! Laulima is a core principle of cooperation in the Hawaiian culture that literally means “many hands working together.” For CCS, it was the collaborative process of selecting our Integrated Library System (ILS), our primary cooperative tool. The Governing Board's February 1 vote to pursue contract negotiations with Innovative Interface's Polaris ILS, marked the end of Project Laulima, and the beginning of our ILS migration. As we say good-bye to Project Laulima and hello to our CCS migration, I know we will move forward with the cooperative spirit that we developed over the past ten months.
