Polaris Cleanup Tasks for Libraries

CCS staff have compiled a list of data cleanup and other tasks that library staff can work on remotely. We will update this list as needed. These are not, at this time, required tasks.

If library staff are working from home on personal devices to access either Leap or the staff client, their library director should have read and signed CCS's Polaris Access on Personal Devices agreement. For more information on that document, please email help@ccslib.org.

Identifying Errors in Catalog Records with Simply Reports

Simply Reports can be used to identify errors in records that can exist in multiple fields. To do so, a count report is used to identify most types of errors because it is more succinct than a list report. After the errors have been identified, a list report can be used to identify the record ID that needs to be corrected.

Learn how to configure reports in Simply Reports to help you identify potential record errors.
