Enterprise Banner

CCS will post an Enterprise banner on all profiles from April 2-April 16 noting that changes are coming to the catalog and there will be no My Account access from Friday, April 13 until Tuesday, April 17. The message will refer patrons to their library for additional information. 


Decommissioning Enterprise

CCS IT staff are working with SirsiDynix on options for redirecting patrons from Enterprise to PowerPAC from April 17 to June 30.

Sample Newsletter Text

The following is an example of text to share with patrons in a library newsletter. Please adapt and modify as appropriate for your library.

During the week of April 16, CCS libraries will be transitioning to a new library catalog. You’ll see a new look as you search for library materials, and will be introduced to new features as we work to improve your library experience.

New Features

  • Seamlessly use the new catalog on your phone, tablet, or computer.

  • Create an easy to remember username to log into the library catalog. 

  • Select your notice preference, including email, text, or automated calls.

  • Renew material automatically. 3 days before your items are due, the system will automatically try to renew your materials for you. If you have an email listed in your library account, you’ll receive an email letting you know the new due date, or a courtesy reminder if the items cannot be renewed.

  • Choose your preferred pickup location from any of the 29 participating locations.

What to Expect

  • From April 14 through April 16, make sure to bring your library card with you to the library! Library staff may not be able to look up your account to check out materials to you.

  • As we transition from one system to another, results in the online catalog may not be up to date. From April 14 to April 16, we encourage you to call your library to confirm that an item is on the shelf. 

  • Library staff will not be able to place holds from April 14-April 16, and cardholders will be unable to log into the library catalog to place holds themselves. 

  • Items returned to the library from April 14-April 17 will not be checked in. We will automatically extend your due dates, and items will remain on your library card until we are live on the new system. 

  • Your library PIN or password will transfer over to the new system in all CAPS. For example, if your PIN is currently mypin1, it will be MYPIN1 in the new catalog. 

  • Your reading history and lists will be not transferred over. Ask a librarian for assistance in printing your reading history and/or your lists, so that information can be preserved.
